The site is located on a gentle bedrock knoll, 1 km southwest of the village Yeni Korfalı and 300 m west of the road Pergamon-İzmir. It is 300 x 150 m in size and 7 m high. In addition to prehistoric surface finds, fragments of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine pottery have been found.

The prehistoric material most likely dates to the Late Bronze Age, since it resembles wares known from Troy VI.
