45-minute video explains significance of the Luwians

The Luwian Studies website now features a 45-minute live video of a presentation given by Dr. Eberhard Zangger during a conference in January 2015. The video is available in English as well as in a version with Turkish subtitles. Dr. Zangger elaborates on the recent research initiative that led to the cataloguing of 340 archaeological sites from the 2nd millennium BCE which fall between the Mycenaean and Hittite realms. He considers the people who lived in those places to have been Luwians, and lists a number of key facts that are already available on their hitherto largely overlooked civilization.
