The tell lies 6 km south of the county town of Kula and 2.5 km east of the village Şeritli. So far, no excavations have been made. According to the information provided by Engin Akdeniz, the settlement is one of the largest in this area. It extends over 300 x 200 m and is 21 m high. The surface finds indicate continuous habitation from the Late Chalcolithic to the Middle Bronze. A necropolis is located on the southern side at a distance of about 300 m from the Settlement.
