Değirmentepe (Süleymanlı)

The tell is located 4 km north-east from the village Süleymanlı in the district of Akhisar. So far, no excavations have been made. It is 250 x 200 m large and 11 m high. Early Bronze Age pottery was predominantly found on the surface, similar to Bağçesme Höyük. In addition, Middle and Late Bronze Age specimens are also present. Pottery from the 2 nd mill. BCE is dominated by buff Gold Wash Ware.
