The tell is on the southern shore of the Işıklı Lake in the district of Çivril and the province Denizli. So far, no excavations have been made. According to the surface finds, the settlement was inhabited during the Late Neolothic but than abandoned in the early Chalkolitic. It was then repopulated during the early Bronze Age and continuously inhabited until the Iron Age.
