The tell settlement is located 1.3 km east of the village of Harmanören in the district of Atabey. No excavations have been carried out so far. However, a cemetery about 300 m northeast of the site was excavated between 1989 and 2005. It yielded many Early Bronze Age and few Middle Bronze Age finds.
