The settlement lies on the north shore of the Dardanelles, 5 km south of Gelibolu. It was discovered by Mehmet Özdoğan. Road constructions revealed a number of pithoi and graves indicating an ancient settlement. The site’s stratified horizons are exposed on the scars facing the sea. Sherds dating to Troy I and Troy VI have been found.
